In early 2009 I moved out of my rented premises and started living ‘full-time’ in my motorhome, a 1986 Toyota Coaster, which had previously been converted from a passenger bus to a motorhome.
I am a nomad by nature I guess, although definately not a grey nomad yet!
Having moved around a lot over the years, I’ve lived in a lot of different towns and cities. I have always wanted to travel around Australia and see what’s out there.
I plan to take about a year or two to go around Australia at this stage, this depends on the time I stay at various places along the way of course, so there is no real set timeframe for the trip, basically how ever long it takes will be how long it takes.
I am a licenced amateur radio operator (VK3FEMT), so if you hear me around the bands on the radio, definately say hello.
Update: August 2010 – Its been well over a year now since I set-sails, and I am still in Victoria, spending most of ’09 and a good part of ’10 in Geelong. I will most likely be returning to Geelong for a short stay in the coming months, then will be hitting the road.
